Watch: Cillian Murphy and Oppenheimer win big at 2024 Golden Globes

It was a huge night for Oppenheimer which won the Best Film – Drama category. 

Cork's own Cillian Murphy won the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama for his role in the biopic, playing the lead role as Physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer. 

Robert Downey Jr won Best Supporting Actor, and Christopher Nolan received the Best Director award.
