Motorcyclist, 30s, killed in Wicklow crash

A motorcyclist has died following a crash in Wicklow this morning.
The incident, which involved a motorbike and a van, took place at approximately 8.05am on the R752 at Corballis Upper in Rathdrum.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the van, a man in his 50s, sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the collision.
The road where the crash took place is currently close pending an examination by garda Forensic Collision Investigations, and local diversions have been put in place.
Investigating gardaí have issued an appeal for witnesses.
Any road users or pedestrians who may have camera footage, and who were travelling in the area between 7.30am and 8.30am this morning have been asked to make this footage available.
