Stretch of Dublin motorway closes for hours after fatal incident

Gardaí are on the scene of a fatal incident on the N3 at Blanchardstown in Dublin.

It is unclear how many people have been killed or if there have been any injuries.

Gardaí said the N3 inbound is expected to remain closed for several hours to facilitate an examination of the scene.

Local diversions are in place and motorists are advised to avoid the area, a statement added.

The incident occurred at around 10.50am on Friday.
