Taoiseach: EU position on Israel-Gaza conflict 'evolving'

The Taoiseach has signalled concern at potential war crimes taking place as part of the war in Gaza, and says the EU’s position on the conflict is ‘evolving’.

“We support Israel’s right to defend itself but no country can violate international humanitarian law. We’ve been very clear on that and I think we’ll have to be clear on that in the weeks and months ahead”, Leo Varadkar told reporters in Brussels today.
