Bereaved family will engage with expert over spinal surgery review

Dollceanna Carter, 10, from Trim, Co Meath, passed away on September 29, 2022, after eight surgeries in four months at the hospital

The family of a child who died following surgery for scoliosis and spina bifida have said they will engage with an expert consultant who is leading a review into CHI at Temple St.

It follows revelations that 19 children who were operated on developed serious post-operative complications, including one child who died.
