CHI publishes reviews into spinal surgeries at Temple Street

Pressure had been mounting on the hospital to release the findings of two completed reports of a review of spinal surgery outcomes in CHI at Temple Street.

Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) has published two reviews relating to spinal surgery for patients with Spina Bifida at Temple Street.

The publications come after the HSE ordered an external review of orthopaedic surgery at Temple Street following 19 "serious spinal surgical incidents”.
