Inquest hears 15 year-old with sepsis was 'beyond repair' after cardiac arrest

An inquest has heard claims an infection that caused the sudden and unexpected death of a healthy Dublin teenager was present when he visited his family doctor two days before he died.

A sitting of Dublin District Coroner’s Court also heard the boy’s parents express regret they were unaware about the symptoms of sepsis at the time of his death five years ago.
