Gardaí investigate death of man in Fermoy

The body of a man in his 50s was found in Rathowen, Fermoy, Co Cork on Sunday afternoon.

Gardaí are investigating the death of a man in Fermoy on Sunday.

A man aged in his 50s was found dead in his home at Rathowen on Sunday afternoon.

The man’s body has been removed to Cork University Hospital for a post-mortem by pathologist Dr Margaret Bolster.

A garda spokesman said: “The outcome of the post-mortem examination will assist Gardaí in determining the course of their investigations.”
