DUP leader Jeffrey Donaldson resigns from NI assembly

Jeffrey Donaldson has resigned his seat in the Stormont Assembly and has instead co-opted former DUP MP Emma Little-Pengelly to the seat.

He indicated earlier this week that he intended to remain in the House of Commons until issues with the protocol are resolved.
