Advance copies of unpublished Sally Rooney novel sell for hundreds online

Advance reading copies (ARCs) of Sally Rooney’s upcoming novel Beautiful World, Where Are You are going for hundreds of dollars online.

The ARCs, which were sent out to a lucky selection of editors, writers and influencers ahead of the book's release in September, are clearly marked 'not for resale' but have begun to appear on trading sites such as eBay and Depop.
