NI victims pension scheme could cost up to £800m – Stormont Justice Minister
A compensation scheme for those most seriously injured in Northern Ireland’s troubled past could cost up to £800 million, the Stormont Justice Minister has said.
Naomi Long said it is “regrettable” that victims had to go to court following delays in the implementation of the scheme, which was passed by MPs at Westminster last year.
