Coronavirus: 12 new confirmed cases but no new deaths, health officials announce

There have been no new coronavirus-related deaths in Ireland this Sunday, health officials have announced.

It comes after there was one death and 24 cases announced on Saturday.

The total number of people who have died having contracted the virus remains at 1,764.

The National Public Health Emergency Team also said there have been 12 new confirmed cases of the virus.

There have now been a total of 25,881 confirmed coronavirus cases in Ireland.
