Covid-19: 9 new cases confirmed as Ireland begins Phase 2 lockdown exit

The total amount of deaths in Ireland as of Covid-19 is now 1,683.

Ireland entered a new phase of its exit from lockdown today as shops reopened across the country and people can now move up to 20km from their home.

4 people have died from Covid-19 the Health Protection Surveillance Centre (HPSC) confirmed today.

This announcement brings the total amount of confirmed deaths as a result of Covid-19 to 1683.
