Manhunt underway in NI for prisoner on temporary release

A manhunt is underway in the North for a prisoner who was temporarily released but is now at large.

William Patterson, 37, was serving a sentence for grievous bodily harm, theft, criminal damage and robbery.

He is described as being around 5ft 9in of slim build with brown hair.

The PSNI is appealing to anyone who has information on him to come forward.
