Gardaí investigating after remains found in Dublin

It is believed human remains may have been found in north Dublin.

The remains were discovered in Coolock this evening.

It appears at this stage they are human remains, pending a more detailed analysis.

Gardaí are at the scene and investigations are ongoing.

RTÉ reports that the discovery is being treated as suspicious.

They report that the remains were "in a bag on a road".
