Cork gardaí seize €300k of cannabis

Gardaí have seized a large quantity of cannabis herb in County Cork.

The cannabis herb (pending analysis) is said to be worth around €300,000 and follows a search operation across various locations in the Bantry area yesterday.

The operation was carried out by the Cork West Divisional Drugs Unit and members of the Bantry Local Unit with the assistance of the Garda Southern Region Dog Unit.

No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing.
