A woman in her 30s who was seriously assaulted in Co Wicklow on Saturday morning has died.

Nadine Lott passed away in hospital, less than four days she was attacked in an apartment in Arklow.

Gardaí say a post-mortem examination will determine the course of the investigation.

A 32-year-old man was charged in connection with the incident yesterday.
