A cyclist has called for extra cycling infrastructure in Limerick city, after posting a video online which he claimed showed a motorist telling him she didn’t “give a s***” after he explained he “could be killed” because her car was parked in the cycle lane.

A cyclist has called for extra cycling infrastructure in Limerick city, after posting a video online which he claimed showed a motorist telling him she didn’t “give a s***” after he explained he “could be killed” because her car was parked in the cycle lane.

Aidan Hogan, aged 39, said he was cycling home from work last Friday when he had to cycle out of a cycle lane on Parnell Street and join other traffic, because a number of cars were parked in the cycle lane.
