Four released after arrest in connection with alleged sexual assault in Rathmines

Gardaí are investigating an alleged sexual assault in south Dublin.

Four men were arrested in connection with the incident.

The sexual assault is alleged to have happened in the early hours of yesterday morning in Rathmines.

Four men were arrested in connection with the investigation and detained at three garda stations in Dublin.

All four have since been released without charge.

A file is to be sent to the director of public prosecutions and an investigation is ongoing.
