Man due in court in connection with Monaghan gun seizure

A man is due to appear in court this afternoon in connection with the seizure of four guns in Co. Monaghan.

Gardai recovered the guns on Wednesday after a car was stopped and searched on the N2.

The driver of the car, a 34-year-old man, was arrested at the scene.

He's due before Carrickmacross District Court at 3pm.
