Shots fired at house in Longford

Shots were fired at a house in Longford early this morning.

It happened shortly after midnight in the Gleann Riada housing estate in the Strokestown Road, Longford town.

Gardaí say the scene is being preserved for a technical examination.

No one was injured and no arrests have been made.
