A solicitor has accepted responsibility for failing to "twig" a client had informed him of two previous accidents following a consultation about suing in relation to a third, the High Court has heard.

Garrett Fortune had twice not "twigged" Sean Ward had told him about the previous accidents when processing and returning paperwork in relation to his latest accident in 2016 when he claims he injured his knee after a car driven by his wife skidded and hit a wall on an icy night.
