Garda injured after being dragged by jeep driven by suspected drink driver

A garda was left with several injuries after being dragged by a jeep driven by a suspected drink driver in Co Tipperary.

Gardaí had been responding to reports of a motorist possibly under the influence in the Birdhill area on Saturday night at around 5.50pm.
