A man who attacked his then-girlfriend in their home over her being “poked” on Facebook by another man has been jailed for two years.

Joseph Dillon (aged 32) of Shangan Court, Ballymun, Dublin, pleaded guilty at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court to assault causing harm at his home on February 9, 2018.
