New research shows angel shark near extinction in Irish waters

New research published by Inland Fisheries Ireland has revealed that angel shark stocks have declined in Irish waters.

Stocks of the species crashed in the late 1990s and remain depleted today, according to angling data published in Endangered Species Research.
