Supreme Court to hear appeal on whether woman, 93, is lawfully detained in hospital

The Supreme Court has agreed to hear an appeal against a finding that an elderly woman with dementia, who was previously prevented by a hospital from discharging herself, is lawfully detained as a ward of court in another hospital.
