The Dublin Region Homeless Executive is to carry out a review after last week's extreme weather.

It's after more people who sleep rough engaged with their services than were previously known to the agency.

Charities say it proves that official head-counts are producing minimum figures, with many more people choosing to spend the night out in the open than previously thought.
