Ryanair is not trying to punish three pilots for speaking out, the airline's human resources boss had told the High Court.

Ryanair is not trying to punish three pilots for speaking out and if its wins a defamation action against them will donate any award to charity, the airline's human resources boss had told the High Court.

Darrell Hughes said the case was not about money but about the fact that the three pilots could not "go around saying we misled investors".
