Teacher denies putting sellotape over mouths of fifth-class girls

A teacher accused of placing sellotape over the mouths of girls has described the allegation as "historic and unfounded", a teaching inquiry heard today.

The five fifth class girls said they were ‘chatting and messing’ on March 7 2012 when the teacher placed tape on their mouths.
