Latest: I never created expectation of solving 'bonkers' pension anomaly for women, says Minister

Update 11.20am: Finance Minister Paschal Donohoe said today that he never promised to fix the pension problem for women in the Budget.

Around 23,000 female workers are being paid lower rates because they left jobs before 1994 to care for their children.
