Pedestrian killed in Co Derry

A 48-year-old womans been killed in a crash in Derry this morning.

She was walking on the Glenshane Road outside the city during the early hours when she was struck by a vehicle.

Police in the North are appealing for witnesses to contact them

The road remains closed and diversions are in place.
