Six rescued after cruiser runs aground in Lough Derg

Six people have been rescued after their 38 foot cruiser ran aground in Lough Derg.

The alarm was raised at around 7.20pm yesterday when the Valentia Coast Guard was requested to assist the boat.

The craft was located inside the Goat Road and all six passengers were brought ashore.
