The body of a woman has been recovered from the sea at the Cliffs of Moher in Co Clare.

The body of a woman has been recovered from the sea at the Cliffs of Moher in Co Clare, writes Patrick Flynn.

The discovery was made this afternoon at around 3pm by members of the public who had been hiking the popular cliff trail.
