Irishman Ibrahim Halawa is set to stand trial in Egypt today.

He has been imprisoned for almost four years after his arrest during demonstrations against the ousting of president Mohammed Morsi in August 2013.

The 21 year old from Dublin is facing trial alongside hundreds of other defendants.

The trial has been adjourned 22 times already.
