Ulster Bank to close 22 branches across Ireland leading to loss of more than 200 jobs

The closures are expected to lead to around 220 redundancies.

Ulster Bank is to close 22 branches across Ireland.

Management said that - in the past week - an average of 30 people per day used the branches that are set to close, while 62% of all transactions last year were digital.
