Tributes have been paid after the death of Maureen Haughey, wife of former Taoiseach Charles, was announced, writes Daniel McConnell.

Mrs Haughey was also the daughter of another ex-Taoiseach Sean Lemass and mother to sitting Dublin Bay North TD Sean Haughey.
