Man arrested following Garda chase in Dublin

A man has been arrested following a Garda chase in West Dublin.

The man in his 30's was being pursued by uniformed Gardaí when he fled his car on foot in the Collinstown area to a nearby park at around 9.50pm last night.

A handgun, ammunition and the car have have been seized as part of the operation.

He is currently being detained at Lucan Garda Station.
