The PSNI have arrested a 42-year-old man in connection with the paramilitary style shooting of a teenage boy in west Belfast.

The 16-year-old boy was shot in both legs in the attack last Sunday at Aitnamona Crescent.

Police arrested the suspect at an address in west Belfast last night.

He is currently assisting officers with their enquiries.
