Gardaí arrest 50 as they tackle outstanding warrants

Gardaí have arrested 50 people in the past week on the foot of outstanding warrants.

The operation saw days-of-action carried out in Meath, Westmeath, Wicklow, Laois/Offaly and Kildare.

A total of 61 Bench Warrants, 1 Committal Warrant and 108 Penal Warrants were executed.

A significant number of repeat offenders have been brought to prison or brought before the courts as a result.
