Rescuers to resume search for woman's body near Cliffs of Moher tomorrow

A search will resume tomorrow for a body reportedly spotted in the sea off the Clare coast.
The alarm was raised at around 3.30pm yesterday when what appeared to be a body, believed to be that of a woman, was observed on the surface of the water below the Cliffs of Moher.
Gardaí and the Irish Coast Guard were alerted and a search operation was quickly mounted.
Weather conditions prevented the Coast Guard from launching their boats however the Shannon based Irish Coast Guard helicopter Rescue 115 carried out sweeps of the area on Saturday and again on this morning.
Conditions had not improved enough today for the Coast Guard to launch their boats - however the larger Aran Islands RNLI lifeboat was able to join the search for a time.
There was however no sign of the body in the water today.
Doolin Coast Guard members are expected to resume the search early tomorrow.
