Suspected arson attack being investigated in Belfast

Police are investigating a suspected arson at a flat in north Belfast.

The blaze broke out in the bedroom of a ground-floor flat on the Ardoyne Road yesterday evening.

A neighbour living above the flat was forced to escape through an upstairs window.

The fire caused substantial damage to the flat.

The PSNI say it is being treated as suspicious.
