A man has appeared in court again charged in connection with the murder of David ‘Daithi’ Douglas in Dublin's inner city.

A man has appeared in court again charged in connection with the murder of David ‘Daithi’ Douglas in Dublin's inner city.

The father-of-one was shot dead on Bridgefoot Street on the afternoon of July 1.

Frederick or ‘Freddie’ Thompson, from Loreto Road in Maryland, Dublin 8 appeared in court on Monday charged with his murder.

He faced his second court appearance this morning via video link at Cloverhill District Court.

He has been further remanded in custody and is due back in court on November 25.
