Gardaí release two men in connection with Laois murder investigation

Two men arrested as part of a four-year-old murder investigation in County Laois have been released without charge.

27-year-old Gerard Eglington was shot in the Kilnacourt Woods Housing Estate in Portarlington on the morning of September 24, 2012.

On Monday Gardaí arrested two men, aged 21 and 34.

They were released from custody last night.
