Kerry Airport runway reopens after plane comes off tarmac

Operations at Kerry Airport have returned to normal after an earlier incident.

The runway was closed for a time after a single person plane came off the tarmac.

No one was injured in the incident at about 12.20pm and an Aer Lingus regional flight operated by Stobart Air was sent back to Dublin Airport as a result.

Stobart Air made arrangements to bus the passengers booked on their flight from Kerry to Dublin.

Flights departing and arriving at the airport are back on schedule.
