St James' water leak causes water-pressure issue throughout hospital

St James' Hospital in Dublin has asked that patient showers and bathing be restricted due to a significant water leak on the campus.

Water pressure has been reduced since Thursday in order to investigate the source of the leak.

Bottled water is being provided to patients and a spokesperson for the hospital said there has been no impact on clinical services.

The hospital said it was addressing the leak, and in the meantime asked all staff to limit water use.
