Inmate returned to cell after stand-off on roof of Cloverhill Prison

An inmate has returned to safety after an incident at Dublin's Cloverhill Prison.

A spokesperson has confirmed that the man gained access to an internal roof at the prison this evening and an hour long stand-off ensued.
