Flags to fly at half mast at Council offices to mark death of Irish rower Ailish Sheehan
The Irish flag will fly at half mast outside the Limerick City and Council Offices today as a mark of respect for Ailish Sheehan.
The 23-year-old rower died in Poland on Friday from injuries she sustained in a fall in Poznan five days before.
Prior to the fall, Ailish won a bronze medal at the World University Championships for Rowing.
Ailish was studying design in England and was representing University of London Boat Club at the competition.
