The family of world university rowing bronze medalist, Ailish Sheehan, have paid tribute to the "ultimate warrior", at her funeral mass in Kildimo, Co Limerick.

A go-fund-me page, set up to help the family of champion athlete Ailish Sheehan, who tragically passed away last Friday from injuries sustained in a fall, has raised nearly $10,000.

The Irish flag will fly at half mast outside the Limerick City and Council Offices today as a mark of respect for Ailish Sheehan.
