More than 300 people waiting for a hospital bed
Nurses say University Hospital Limerick is the most overcrowded in the country today.
According to the INMO's latest Trolley Watch statistics, the facility has 35 people waiting for a bed.
According to the figures, there are 327 people on trolleys in Emergency Departments and overflow areas of wards today.
The data shows that 244 of those are waiting on trolleys, with 83 in the wards.
Cork University Hospital is the second most under-pressure facility today with 33 people recorded, followed by St Luke's Hospital in Kilkenny which has 27 people waiting.
