Man arrested with €200,000 cash in car in Dublin

A man has been arrested as part of an operation targeting organised crime in Dublin.

Gardaí seized €200,000 in cash in search of a vehicle in the Fonthill Road area yesterday afternoon.

The money had been concealed in the car and a man arrested at the scene.

He has since been released without charge and a file will be prepared for the DPP.
